New Insolvency Manager Increases Expertise at Portland
Published on: 10 October 2007
Portland, the south coast's largest independent business recovery firm, has recruited Lee Jones as an Insolvency Manager. Lee brings a wealth of talent and experience to Portland having performed similar roles across the country.
Lee has joined Portland from BRI Business Recovery and Insolvency, and has in the past worked for KPMG and Ernst and Young. As a result, her experience of more than 10 years in the sector will be invaluable to both Portland and its clients. Working alongside her new colleagues at Portland's Poole office, Lee will be responsible for overseeing the entire case management process for the firm's numerous corporate clients.
Lee, who is currently studying towards her Joint Insolvency Examinations, believed the chance to work at Portland was too good to miss. 'The culture at Portland was what really impressed me. The combination of a professional yet friendly service is something that is vital in business recovery and that is exactly what I found here at Portland. I couldn't turn down an opportunity to work for such a firm here on the south coast.'
Portland Director Mike Fortune believes that: 'In recruiting Lee we are increasing the experience we can draw upon within our team here at Portland. Lee brings further depth to the service we provide - a benefit our clients will begin to experience immediately.'
Between her studies, Lee is a keen cricket and football fan, but having relocated to the area to join Portland, the majority of her spare time is currently spent exploring her new surrounds!
